Install and Configuration

1. Install Trace parser on Microsoft Dynamics AX installer

2. Run Microsoft Dynamics AX Trace Parser
   

3. Register database (once)
   File > Register database
   

4. Add User to "Performance Log Users" Group's member

Control Panel > Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Groups

5.     Login Again on Windows

Make trace file

1. Run AX Client and go to Development Workspace
   Start "Tracing cockpit"
   Tools > Tracing cockpit
   

2. Setting Trace options and Event selection
   

3. Start trace on Tracing cockpit window
   Enter "Windows Performance Analyzer Trace File (etl)" file name and location

4. Run Test scenario on AX window

5. Stop trace on Tracing cockpit window

Analyze trace file

1. Run "Microsoft Dynamics AX Trace Parser"

2. Import Trace
   File > import trace
   Select trace file
   Importing…

3. Review result
